Are we at the Egashira redemption arc? This episode did change my opinion of her a bit so I guess they're succeeding lol. It was interesting to find out she was a fat kid and I can see how she has turned out the way she has by the experience and how she put in effort to change herself.

I like how Mitsumi is surrounded by such supportive people, you'd think there would be more girls in her class interested in Shima who would be jealous of her relationship with him and hearing she wanted to give him pickles, that would have been such an easy way to bring in unnecessary drama but it was a lot more wholesome which I liked. I'm glad she was able to hand it to him in the end.

There's just something about fat/loner characters trying their best to fit in that makes me tear up. 😥

yeah this episode made me warm up to her more, like I still don't like her attitude but she surely is a hardworking person and I admire people like that, she just needs to stop being jealous of others and value herself more, I get the feeling she will get there though.
